about

Definitely the wildest song I've ever recorded. Reimagined by Jacob, this song not only explores the darkness of the Locrian mode, but also plays with polymeter. The drum/guitar part alternates between 7/8 and 5/8, creating a 3/4 feel, but the melody is in 4/4, conveniently arriving together at the end.

lyrics

This is Locrian.
There's a reason why we don't use Locrian.
If you really tried to stick with Locrian,
You would never feel home.
